The First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales de Guaidó, sent a message of strength and unity to all Venezuelans, on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day.

“Stress and depression increase risk factors. In Venezuela the humanitarian emergency pushes Venezuelans to death in the face of so much adversity,” warned Rosales de Guaidó through her Twitter account.
The First Lady called on all families to look after the wellbeing of their loved ones. “Each member of our family is a fundamental part of rebuilding our country, talking to our children and family, sharing our feelings in these dark times we are living, identifying possible acute sadness or depression, never ignoring threats to suicide, going to a specialist and seeking help.”
“Let us fight to overcome this dark moment, the family and its wellbeing must be our priority to rebuild Venezuela”, she ended.
